BattleGroundSanDiego will play host the Tanaris Realm Championship this November.

Victor Cantu, Circuit Commissioner for the BattleGroundSanDiego Tournament Series announced today that the Tanris Realm Championship will be held at theMission Valley Resort in San Diego California.

"San Diego has come full circle in the past six months...From having little to no following in the World of Warcraft TCG format to hosting the Realm Championship. I think it says great thnings for the game in Southern California", states Victor Cantu, Circuit Commissioner.

"From our first event at the Mission Valley Resort in May to events at Sky High Comics, Artifex, the Upper Deck Store and the Irvine Suites Hotel, the game is really showing some signs of life. If Upper Deck chooses to continue the solid support they have been showing, the gamer base will only continue to grow. I am really looking forward to this event. I am looking forward to meeting the player base from the other areas in the Tanaris Region."

On why he chose the Mission Valley Resort to be the location of choice, "I took my time with this event. I visited several locations. I visited the Del Mar Race Track, hotels in La Jolla, Oceanside and San Diego proper. I was looking for a location that I knew would take care of us. A location that could support In the end, I chose to come back to he Mission Valley Resort. The resort is centrally located, well taken care of and has a great staff. In the end the search ended where it started. I think the players will agree that we chose correctly."

"The prize support is second-to-non as well. In the next few days, I will be posting hotel information and both the side events and the prize support to the website."

The Realm Championshipis UpperDeck Entertainment's Regional Championships. The San Diego region is located in the realm of Tanaris. Tanaris encompasses Southern California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico.
